On April 9, the Olive Oil World Congress (OOWC) has organized a conference entitled "Aceite de oliva: el reto del etiquetado nutricional".
The event will bring together leading personalities from the sector, including Elena Escobar Sánchez, general director of Agrifood Production and Cooperatives of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha; Ricardo Migueláñez, coordinator of the OOWC; Primitivo Fernández, director of the Asociación Nacional de Industriales Envasadores y Refinadores de Aceites Comestibles (ANIERAC); and Enrique G. Tenorio, director at DOP Montes de Toledo.
The conference, which will start at 10:00 am at the Fundación Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero in Mora (Toledo), will include a round table where various aspects related to the nutritional labeling of olive oil will be discussed. Among the topics to be discussed are the current regulations, the challenges faced by the industry and strategies to ensure transparency and accurate information for the consumer.
