The Olive Oil World Congress (OOWC) has organised a conference entitled "Sustainable olive groves: Olive oil's circular route", to be held in Jaén on 15 April.
The event will bring together leading personalities from the sector, including Carmen Crespo, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Andalusian Regional Government; Manuel Parras, professor at the University of Jaén; Juan Antonio Polo, head of the Department of Olive Oil Technology and Environment of the IOC; and Esteban Momblán, manager at InterOleo.
The conference, which will start at 10:00 a.m., will include a round table where various aspects related to the sustainability of olive oil will be debated.
