The Interóleo Group continues to increase its presence in third countries with olive oil exports that have continued to grow in 2022. Data released by Extenda show that last year closed with an increase in olive oil exports in Jaén to 420 million euros. Of these, Grupo Interóleo now represents 22.7% of international sales, reaching 95.5 million euros in turnover in third countries. In relation to Andalusia, Grupo Interóleo exports 3% of the oil that the autonomous community has sold outside Spain and represents 1% of all exports from Andalusia.
The Manager of Grupo Interóleo, Esteban Momblán, emphasises the eminently export-oriented nature of the company. "The main olive oil producing province in Spain has a marketing group that promotes around a quarter of the province's sales in foreign markets, which shows that we work with a marked international profile. Our aim is to generate the greatest added value for our partners through specialisation, diversification, promotion and customer advice. This work allows us to continue growing year after year and, furthermore, we are able to increase olive oil sales in markets where we already had a presence or open up new ones," explains Esteban Momblán.
Efficiency, constant analysis of the markets and adaptation of the offer allows the Interóleo Group to reinforce its primacy among export producers. "We are consolidating growth and strengthening the company structure based on a well-dimensioned model, with a professional structure, with the capacity to take on projects, adapting to our clients, with the main quality certifications required such as BRC or IFS, organic production, specific seals for certain markets such as Kosher or Halah and with a global vision of markets and the future", concludes the manager of Grupo Interóleo.
