This way, the blocks into which the programme will be divided will be genetics and production, production process, product quality, sensory properties, food safety, nutrition, sustainability, marketing and communication.

The meeting was attended by representatives of olive oil companies and associations from Spain and Italy, such as Agrocolor, DOP Les Garrigues, Natural Resources. SGS, Grupo Interóleo, Instituto de la Grasa, the Sectorial Nacional del Aceite de Oliva Virgen con Denominación de Origen, Fundación Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero, the Interporfesional del Aceite de Oliva Español, Anierac or the Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori (CIA); as well as other organisations such as CIHEAM Zaragoza, ETSIAM- Universidad de Córdoba or the Consejería de Agricultura, Agua, Pesca y Desarrollo Rural de la Junta de Andalucía.
